Brewers climb to first following Mondays slate of games

Updated: Dec 6, 2019

Monday -- Following Mondays slate of games the Brewers climbed to the top of the league standings for the meantime.

Diamond Jaxx @ Hounds

This mini-series between two teams who are seeking first place was a slow one and was short in runs. In the first game it was Matty O'Neil who hit the winning RBI with a home-run in the second inning. Jenkinson got the shutout win. In the second game the Hounds came on top with a winning RBI single in the bottom of the third. Traccia pitched his way to his first win of the season.

Pilots @ Brewers

The Pilots again stayed within their opponents, but the short comings came from bad defensive plays. In the first game Nick Miraglia hit his fifth home-run of the season, that was followed by an inside the park home-run from Matt King following a handful of bad defensive plays.

Game two of the night was short due to powerful wind and rain. But the Brewers came on top once again after another short fall of defensive plays from the Pilots. The game was called over one out into the Pilots top of the third at bats.
