Pilots drop Tuesday's back to back series

Updated: Dec 6, 2019

Tuesday -- The Pilots completed their season on a bad note losing all four games they took part in on Tuesday.

Pilots @ Brewers

Both games went into extra innings between the top seeded Brewers and last placed Pilots but in both games the Brewers were able to walk off the wins. In the first game it was John Gagne who got the winning single that sent home Ricky Montes, Raimo pitched another shutout and lowered his league leading ERA to just .30.

Game two had more offense including a great first at bats for the Pilots, who drove in three runs, but the Brewers matched that in the bottom half of the first scoring three runs themselves. The game was scoreless until Marescalchi drove in his third run of the game in the top of the sixth. But again the Brewers tied it up as well as the winning run by Matt King.

Hounds @ Pilots

The Hounds played their season ending series with just two players; Grady Chan and Devin Veil. In game one it was a great start from the first pitch as both players got hit after hit. They finished the game with 13 runs. Both also hit the cycle and Chan added three home runs.

Nothing was different in the second game except an extra three runs for the Hounds that lead them over the Pilots 16-0. Again Chan and Veil hit for the cycles and Chan added two inside the park home runs.

The Playoffs begin Sunday with the top seeded Brewers hosting all games against the Pilots. The second placed Hounds will match up against the third finished Diamond Jaxx. Hounds will have home advantage throughout.
