Who's on Deck? Trade Deadline Rumors

Sunday -- WednesdayJuly 8th marks our 2020 Trade Deadline; and we take a look at potential trades that have been rumored around the league.

Prior to being on July 8th the Deadline was supposed to fall on July 13th (a Monday) but due to a late season start that date has been moved up five days. During our league games we have heard rumors spiral for many players, who may find themselves in a new uniform for the rest of the season. So let's see who may be "on deck".

Tyler Page, Mallards; Following another sweep against the Mallards we are beginning to see the end of the line for some players, one of which may include Tyler Page. Originally Page was expected to play the full season with the Mallards and possibly sign a new season contract with them, but now that the Diamond Jaxx are in search of a new addition the eyes focus on Page. Though he is averaging a .154 it is the fielding that has sparked the interest from the Jaxx. We would expect a draft pick to be sent to the Mallards as the Diamond Jaxx do not have movable player assets at the moment.

Matt King, Mallards; Another Mallard finds himself "on deck". The rumor that the Mallards would be trading Matt King to the Brewers has been circling around for quite some time, though not finalized trade has been completed. As we get closer to the deadline the two sides may work on one final deal, but due to a lack of assets the Brewers are willing to give up they may not complete it. Turnaround; Though the Mallards are in last place of the National League they do have a good shot at the World Series. They have not had King during their series loss against the Widows and Jaxx so he will definitely be a playoff game changer, as long as the Mallards can finish above the Inglorious Batters.

Andrew Mountain, Brewers; Mountain's name has been heard as a possible option to acquire the Mallards pitcher Matt King, but with limited assets besides him it may be dimming down. But that does not count out Andrew 'Mountain-time' from being shopped at the deadline. There is a handful of teams that could use the all-round player to their Post-season push lineup. Including the Diamond Jaxx...

Dougie Baker, Black Widows; Recently we have heard more and more rumors about fifteen-year old Dougie Baker being shopped around so he will make our list. Though most of those rumors have been dimmed we will probably not see him moved to a new team, but anything is possible...

Ethan Winer, Hooligans; Winer is another player where for some time we heard rumors about him being shipped off to the Mariners and Mallards. But recently he has been another player who's name has been limited in trade talks.

We are just 10 days from our Trade Deadline. We may see a handful of roster moves that could send players to new teams as well as a handful of players placed on waivers. Our Trade Deadline will be streamed with live roster moves on Youtube and our Website until 5:00 p.m. est. where all trades must be submitted by that time.
