Jaxx acquire Marescalchi

Wednesday -- After a very quiet Trade Deadline day we had a late night offer completed after much back and forth.

The Diamond Jaxx have acquired league commissioner Chad Marescalchi on Wednesday night in return for a first round pick in 2021. The trade came after the Screwballs swept the Mallards by large scores, but that is not what drove Chad away from his team.

"Unfortunately we wanted to get more players playing, and doing so resulted in my team having over the maximum limit of seven players.... I did not want to be looked at as a commissioner that does not follow his own rules haha."

Marescalchi, has .422 batting average should be a good piece for the Jaxx when they play the Screwballs on Sunday.

Marescalchi made note that he will not be signing with the Diamond Jaxx for the 2021 season, but will return to the Mallards to rebrand and release a new roster...
