Players of the Week; One

Tuesday -- Following a busy Opening Weekend we had returning players continue their league dominance as well as newcomers to the league take over the stats sheet.

Offensive Player of the Week

Signed off free agency by the Screwballs; Alexander Marcoux made a huge impact and had his name all over the boxscore during Monday night's Opening Day for the Screwballs. The newcomer finished the two game series against the Inglorious Batters with an average of .778, seven hits, six runs batted in (RBI) and a league leading three home-runs.

Defensive Player of the Week

Though we had many pitchers perform well after Sunday's triple header, Brian DiNapoli of the Hooligans proved to be the most game changer pitcher of the week. DiNapoli's competition was noted as the toughest team they will play this season and he was able to shut the Widows down allowing just one run, three hits in just three innings, and threw three strikeouts against one of the leagues best projected offensive teams.
