Offseason Key Dates

With the inaugural season complete the league is beginning preparations for the 2020 season which is scheduled to start May 24, 2020.

Now that the offseason is officially upon us there are key dates to keep in your calendar if you are a player, owner or fan!

Offseason Key Dates;

August 15, 2019 - New team applications open

September 1, 2019 - Last day for team managers to sign pending Free Agents (Up to 3)

September 2, 2019 - Free Agency Begins (Only unsigned 2019 players will be available)

October 1, 2019 - Fall Managers Meeting

December 1, 2019 - Winter Managers Meeting

April 30, 2020 - Last day to enter submit a new team application

May 5, 2020 - Last day for individual player sign ups to be Draft eligible

Mid-May, 2020 - Pre-Draft Showcase (@ Beverly CCCSBD)

May 17, 2020 - 2020 NWBL Player Draft

May 20, 2020 - Last day for Drafted players to sign to respective teams

May 21, 2020 - Beginning of Spring Training - Teams can schedule exhibition games

May 24, 2020 - Opening Day (Hounds @ Navigators)
