Thursday -- The Mallards and Screwballs; who have already traded once this season, have made another trade late Thursday night.
The Mallards landed Alexander Marcoux, who is atop of the league offensive leaders with a .588 batting average, three home-runs and seven RBI's. In return the Screwballs received a 2021 first round pick (previously owned by them prior to being traded to the Mallards) and a 2021 second-round draft pick from the Mallards.
"We definitely had a defensive breakdown in our season opener... and acquiring Alex can help out in the field and even more in the batters box." Mallards manager Chad Marescalchi said.
Marcoux will suit up as a Mallard Sunday afternoon when they take on divisional opponent the Black Widows.
