Mallards acquire Fitch from Mariners

Friday -- The Mallards and Mariners have completed a trade that will send Hayden Fitch and a 2021 2nd round draft pick to the Mallards in return for the rights to Logan Slevoski and cash considerations.

Hayden Fitch, fielder, was drafted in the 3rd round (#18th) in the 2020 Player Draft by the Mariners. He will bring a well-rounded baseball experienced player to the Mallards, who have high expectations for their inaugural campaign. The Mallards also received a 2021 2nd round draft pick.

In return the Mariners received the player rights to Logan Slevoski (who is expected to be good to play Opening Day). As well as cash considerations for the team.
