League to incorporate Player Contracts in 2020

The Northeast Wiffle Ball League has announced today that they will begin to utilize player contracts for the future seasons beginning in 2020. These contracts will allow for a more professional feel to the league.

Starting now team captains are allowed to sign no more than four (4) players for the 2020 season. Any player not signed by September 1, 2019 will be placed on Free Agency and available to get offers from other league teams (as well as their previous team). Each roster will hold no more than 7 players who will all have signed contracts with the respective teams.

Players can sign either one, two, or three year contracts as long as you do not have more than four signed prior to each seasons Signing Deadline.
