League Statement Regarding (COVID-19)

Wednesday -- The Northeast Wiffle Ball League is familiar with the current highly contagious COVID-19 virus that has become an issue in the United States as well as the entire world; we have been monitoring the situation and make any necessary decisions as needed, but for now we continue to plan for our 2020 season to go on with the released scheduled games and all events.

One change that will effect our players and teams is that we currently are working through new ways to outfit our teams with uniforms. We recently were accepted as a sponsored league within an online sports outfitting company; but do to the limitations of product being transported between the United States and China; our sponsors are no longer able to fulfill our uniform order. We obviously do not have any negative comments towards them as it is out of their control.

Again, we appreciate your time through this worldwide tragedy and we will continue to keep everyone informed on the leagues updates.
